Cultivating local forests from local seeds
The seedling bank project we are promoting is different from other banks.
Because we are not a bank for saving "money," but a bank for saving "seedlings to create a forest from seeds."
A single seed sprouts, grows into a seedling, and eventually becomes a forest.
We continue our activities of collecting seeds from trees native to the region, growing them in that region, and returning them to the local forests.
We want to share the wisdom of the forest, cultivated over a long period of time, with many people, including schools, communities, and businesses, and pass it on to the next generation.
